« Amidst citrus fruit, savour creative dishes whose ingredients are enhanced while maintaining their naturalness!»
Description of the establishment
Cesare Grandi is a renowned chef from Turin, food technologist, ambassador in Italy of the Brotherhood of Seafood Gourmets and Wine Companions. In his restaurant he offers a gastronomic culture rich in different knowledge. The chef called the restaurant "La Limonaia" because of his love for the sea and because, crossing the courtyard and garden of the complex of buildings that houses the restaurant, it seems to be inside a citrus fruit plantation.
La Limonaia was born in 2013, on the outskirts of Turin, out of the young chef's desire to restore food to its natural dimension, made up of history, people, health and culture: "When we eat, we express and perceive the expression of the world, involving all our senses. The stories we will tell will remind us that each culture, each tradition, each identity is a product of history, dynamic and unstable".
Fantasy, creativity, high level cuisine with ingredients chosen from artisan suppliers, to promote those who protect the territory and use natural methods, interpreted in an innovative way: breadsticks and bread are produced with the mother yeast of the family
