Very good location & extremely welcoming staff. We arrived by car, however, and it would have been very helpful to have had valet parking and not have had to navigate street closures to get to the reserved garage space, which was very, very small & narrow. Also, it would be helpful to have enclosed showers, rather than merely a handheld shower in the bathtub.
I would like to thank the lady receptionist on duty on our arrival at the Wilson ( 10 Oct @ approx 430 pm) . We were greeted with professional practical and a warm welcome to the hotel. We have travelled extensively on this practical trip and wanted to register the lovely impact of your colleague

The hotel looks great, absolutely. BUT, unfortunately it was the first time in long time that I had a cold shower in the morning because the hot water was not working. On top the reception forgot to mention it when we arrived (already late in the evening) the night before when it seams the situation was already known. Not acceptable.
Just for reference we were a group of 5 people from Simoldes that goes very regularly to Valencienne
Excellent quality all round. A great welcome, lovely room and bathroom, decent shower, strong WiFi. All within a stone's throw of the amazing mediaeval town where every street has an architectural revelation. Dinner is top quality from a small menu of excellent ingredients, cooked with aplomb.
Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast each morning had a wonderful variety of fresh foods. The crusty bread and selection of jams was our favorite. Location was perfect - close enough to walk to Lourdes but far enough away to escape the crowds. Would definitely recommend staying here to others.
Nice room, lots of space, in the new part of this hotel. large and comfortable beds. Very nice view on the park.
Friendly people in hotel and restaurant.
Excellent choice of Beaujolais wines for reasonable prices.
We go to the Chateau Sainte Sabine 2 or 3 times a year whilst travelling to and from home. We feel very much appreciated by the staff and believe that the hotel has quite a few other returning guests as a result.
En route to Dijon, for a weekend, we reserved 1 x pavilion and 1 x classic room, but were upgraded to 2 x classic rooms. Room 11 was very tired with torn curtains, the window sills were dusty, but most importantly the ensuite shower room was practically unusable. The toilet was located in an area which obviously had had the door removed, and you banged your elbows on the walls ( a larger person than me, would not actually be able to use the toilet!), the washbasin was tiny, and the water sprayed everywhere, there was no toothbrush mug, the shower cubicle door was black along the bottom (poor cleaning); and there was a towel rail on the wall above the washbasin which didn't work and was located in a ridiculous position.
I told the receptionist about the shower room, and she advised me that she knew about the torn curtains and that the room was due for refurbishment. She showed me the pavilion rooms for our return - but at that time I did not look in detail at the bathroom in room 13
On our return from Dijon, we stayed 1 night in 2 x pavilion rooms. Room 13 - the décor was drab and dated. There were bits of paper stuck on the back of the door into the bedroom where old notices had once been attached. The heated towel rail in the ensuite was covered in dust (poor cleaning); the grouting round the bath and tiles was black (again inadequate cleaning). The towel rail was so close to the sink that you were in danger of burning oneself. The sink was blocked and would not empty quickly with the plug floating about in the water until it drained away. The hairdryer on the wall had a large sign which said "hors service". Again no toothbrush mug plus the door to the bathroom didn't close. Photos are available should you want them.
The public rooms and restaurant were beautiful, the dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the staff friendly, courteous and helpful
I expect the more expensive rooms to be beautiful and immaculate, but in a 4 star establishment all the rooms should be clean, good décor and design and everything works properly - we were very disappointed I have stayed in less prestigious places and enjoyed better rooms for 70 euros per night.
chambre au rez spacieuse et calme, décorée simplement mais avec charme.
Petit déjeuner décevant, personnel débordé, bruits de vaisselle faite devant nous, peu de choix, plats vides, il nous a fallu demander de les remplir...
Staff was helpful and very friendly. Hotel room was comfortable, bright, with plenty of room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good with fresh local products on the menu. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return next year. Merci!
I booked the hotel for my wedding night. When we arrived, we were given a room with a view of the lake. The restaurant was closed, so it was disappointing as I was told that it's really good. We will come back again to try it. Hopefully this time it will be open!
Bed very comfortable but our reservation print out from hotel said superior room overlooking the courtyard which turned out to be the parking lot. The wall near the TV was in need of re painting to remove numerous marks. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay.
We had a lovely one stay at the end of September. All was perfect beginning with the charming hostess who explained all we needed to know. We had a refreshing swim in the heated pool with great views of the mountains. Our room had all we needed: clean, large with a quiet terrace overlooking trees. Overall a 5 star establishment.
Our stay at Hannong was great. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We went to the wine bar both nights of our stay. The bartenders were amazing and made our experience much better than we expected. Wish we could remember the name of the one bartender because he went above and beyond.
Jules on reception gave us a very warm welcome, our room was charming and very comfortable and the ambience was pleasant. We saw Jules again when we left and he was just as warm and friendly. Thank you Jules and well done.
