Cannot fault anything. Very comfortable and we were far enough away from the Harley Davidson Festival so as not to be disturbed by the noise. Indeed we were very fortunate to have accidently timed our visit to coincide with the Festival. Shame the restaurant wasn`t open on the Sunday evening but it didn`t spoil our overall enjoyment of our stay.
Since our last stay, significant progress has been made with upgrading the guestrooms, and the dining experience. Above all, the staff are attentive and excellent. Overall, a most pleasant experience which we very much look forward to repeating soon.
We highly recommend this resort - excellent personal service ( especially Olive) , great selection and variety of food everyday ( thanks to the Head Chef, Kwarana) and his team) and the perfect location. With a bar and bar manager ( Prashan Kumar) . We will certainly return.

We had a wonderful stay at the chateaux. The setting was lovely in a beautiful garden with a stream and swans. It was so peaceful and the staff were all really helpful and friendly. Will will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Bayeux.
This time we stayed in the older Chateau "Classic" room, so lots of old world charm with all the essentials, eg bathroom facilities, modernised. Did not have time to wander through the grounds which looked extensive and very well kept.
Main attraction, that justified our repeat visit, is the restaurant. Chose the cheaper 'Discovery' menu, which at Eu 48 looks a good price for a classy 3 course dinner. In reality it is what in UK could be billed as a 5 course meal, the additional small "bits" before the Entree and between courses being unlisted on the menu. Every element demonstrated imagination, care and expertise in their preparation. It was a meal that surprised and satisfied, great great value.
We had a bottle of the mid/lower priced Medoc at Eu69, after requesting guidance. Again, to get a recommendation that really is a wine to enjoy is a big plus.
The breakfast was at the standard you'd expect from this type of establishment. All quality produce in a very pleasant setting. I didn't try the Champagne as I was to be the driver, my Co-Pilot did and gave it full marks.
So, another very pleasant stay with an exception dinner.

firstly we were put in a tiny not very light room up in the roof,we complained and were give a fabulous large light airy room with a large beautiful bathroom which we had for an extra 20 euros plus paying for breakfast @ 19 euros each
the first 150 euros the second 220 frankly the first room should be 80eur the second what they ask after this it was all great
frankly the difference dint make send
Spent 3 days in Le Maréchal in Colmar with our daughter and her husband. Could not have been a better stay. Excellent service by a very polite staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this very scenic town
This is a wonderful hotel. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good parking, comfortable rooms, tasty food, a cheeseboard from heaven and good value. Highly recommended and would be very happy to stay again
The positives were its central location, dog friendly (for an additional paying supplement), private parking (for an additional paying supplement), friendly staff and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The negatives were: our room (La Guerche) was a bit dated and not what we expected for a 4 star hotel (having seen lovely rooms on your web site prior to booking). Also whilst there were 'tea and coffee making facilities' in the room firstly there was no kettle (unless you asked for it especially) secondly cups were just paper cups and there were no spoons just wooden stirrers,. Budget hotels in UK would have proper cups and spoons. There was no milk (but a jug was provided having asked for it). It was nice to have a fridge with bottled water provided on the first day, this was however, just resting on the floor with a coffee machine on top of it.
You cannot get a better location in the heart of lovely Colmar than Le Marechal. The variety of rooms and the attention to detail in each is splendid. You feel a part of the city with your windows open to hear the boats and the people on the street. Pretty much perfect.
Dus nachtrust was matig.

I stayed at Chateau de Saulon with my wife, while travelling back to the UK. We booked for the Gourmet dinner package, and were not disappointed. The food was excellent. The service was first class, especially in the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a good nights sleep.
A wonderful end to our touring holiday. Many thanks.
The reception desk ladies were the BEST!! They went above and beyond with some special requests I had. A special thanks to Emily who even mailed a box for me. Thank you ladies for making our stay in this lovely hotel remarkable!
We stayed at the Cottage primarily to enjoy the food. We were very pleased with the room.
However, I only was able to sleep a few minutes during the night because the room was very hot. The air conditioning did not cool the room, and it was not cool enough outside to get air in that would allow the temperature to drop below 21.
If the temperature conditions could have been changed my stay would have been perfect. In the end though, I would be unlikely to stay again because I would not trust that I could sleep.
The hotel is well located with lots of potential charm. However, our room #100 was desperately in need of new carpeting, new fabrics and new beds The staff was attentive, the garden was peaceful and dinner was very good
