Beautifull quiet place with a stunning vieuw you can look at forever. Dining at the restaurants brings the best of both worlds, great vieuw and great food! Beautifull pool and gardens, and all this at a 15 minute drive from Bergerac airport.

Demeure historique très bien entretenue au confort moderne et à la déco classique chic dans un très beau cadre forestier. A noter : les volets roulants à commande électrique au chevet du lit, un plus rare, même dans les très bons établissements. Direction et personnel attentionnés.
We stayed for 1 night before we went cycle touring around Burgundy. The hotel kindly allowed us to leave our vehicle parked for one week. When we came back, we stayed for a second night, upgrading ourselves to the bigger suite and using the pool. Very chilled and peaceful. Friendly staff, lots of help with the local wine selection. Would recommend this place for others.
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. Staff is friendly and highly professional. Location is perfect in this nice village. Moreover the food (breakfast and diner) was excellent. We highly recommend it
piscine très belle, personnelle au petit soin , des gens absolument adorable et attentionné
seule point négatif normal pour la période covid: sauna et hammam fermé,
n'hésitez pas si vous avez besoin de calme,; de douceur et de liberté.

I stayed in this hotel 40 years ago and i had good memories of it. It was luxury and the staff was very kind. Now the hotel is a bit out of date. The rooms are ok but old fashioned. The beds were good though. The bathroom really needs a make-over. The evening we arrived we had dinner in the bistro, the food was good but the ambiance was poor. The restaurant was closed that evening. Next morning we had an excellent breakfast in the fantastic dining room.
Like this hotel. We come here e every year traveling south. Beautiful castle. Golfcourse next door. The weather was good, so diner outside.
Very nice atmosphere. Rooms are specious and nice. The one we had was a family room. With separate sleepingroom. High quality stuf Little bit outdate design, but still ok. In june we had a room n the other side of the castle ( view on the golf course and parking). Smaller but nicer and cheaper room. Advantage Also, this wing has an elevator. The only thing What was negative in this hotel. Both wings should have elevators. Don t forget to have dinner in the castle. Food is of high quality. ( don’t forget to reserve) Enjoy your stay in Chateau de Chailly. It is worth staying there.

En excellent hotel and restaurant. Incredible ambiance in quiet oasis. Margeaux is so helpful and friendly lady, she helped to me organize husband’s birthday, gave so valuable advices. Definitely we will come back one more time.
The rooms in Les saules are very pleasant and ideal for a short stay in Vonnas. We particularly liked the balcony overlooking the small river. The weather was rather cloudy during our short stay, so it curtailed our useof the outside part of the Spa and swimming pool. We did note how well all the staff managed the Covid restrictions and distancing, well done to them all.
We enjoyed the food in the Auberge. It was noted that the Carafe/Pot of wines had been removed from the wine list since our last visit some two years ago. A pot of wine is an old Lyonnais tradition which we always thought rather pleasant.
Lovely hotel with excellent if expensive restaurant
The main hotel is a beautiful old chateau, with the rooms in a more modern separate building. The staff on reception gave us a good welcome and were very friendly and helpful. In these COVID 19 days, you have to wear masks in the hotel but can take them off once you are in the restaurant area. All the staff were wearing clear face masks which meant you could see their faces, which made the place much more welcoming. The “superior” room was lovely, spacious with a good sized balcony and a large bathroom. The restaurant is absolutely first class, but be warned, it is not cheap. We had the four course menu, at €98 per person excluding drinks. It was superb. Be careful of the wine waiter who will try to sell you a €500 bottle of wine. We had a glass of red wine at I think around €10 a glass and it was fine. All in all a lovely overnight stay and if you want a treat I woUtd definitely recommend the restaurant.
Loved our stay at Château Meyre. Sophie was a really accommodating and very kind host.
Beautiful gardens and relaxing pool area. Delicious lunch each day on the terrace. Great for children and our little dogs too. Gorgeous walks around the vine yards and great restaurants near by. Would love to visit again in the Autumn 🍂
My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel for the second time and we were not disappointed !
The service we received was excellent in every respect - our welcome, our lovely room and facilities and the welcome and excellent service we received from all of the staff.
The restaurant was also excellent with an impressive and enjoyable menu.
The Chateau de la Commanderie convinces with a beautiful park, nice rooms to relax in, very nice and competent staff, a good breakfast, which also offers enough for athletes (we are cyclists and climb alpine passes every day). It is the best base for us to start our cycling trips.
Most of the cottages are occupied by spainish workmen who are very loud and party until 02:00. The cottage was dirty and the outside space was unusable. The main hotel was very nice. The food and service were excellent.
Great hotel dealing with the difficulties of COVID extremely well - very clean. We stayed at the hotel along with our 3 children, lovely room in one of the annex buildings. Great car park right outside of the hotel, everything you would expect from a grand french chateaux with large open grounds for the children to play and a great pool. One only negative is that food options were very limited for both adults and children. They would be well served to have an outdoor pizza oven/hut! Definitely recommend.
Great atmosphere, dinner was also really good (quality and service) . Rooms are unique and well designed, but outdated and quality (impossible to keep floor dry in bathroom when you have a shower) poor. Showering and bath at the same time is almost impossible (in jungle book room). Breakfast was ok, but staff was too late to put the breakfast (wasn't ready at 7:30 AM as we were informed earlier). At check-in we waited for over 5 minutes at the reception desk while the receptionist was finishing her work at the computer.
However, the experience was good, maybe I'll come back one day.
Hotel looks great, we had the smallest room which gives free access to the spa. The room is big!
Restaurant is nice for dinner, breakfast is ok, nothing special.
Staff is very friendly, really good staff! I liked the clubsandwhich ^^
Town itself is small not much to do.
