This property and location is simply spectacular. My mother and I stayed there for two nights and, from start to finish, it was a lovely, relaxing, perfect vacation. We even tried to extend our stay. Sadly they were fully booked for the weekend (no surprise) and could not accommodate us, but were we able to, we would have spent at least two more nights there because it was such a good experience. Highly highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation in a hidden gem in this region of France.

We have just enjoyed another great holiday at The Abbaye de Talloires. It is difficult to single out any one person or thing which makes it so special. Whether it is the warmth of our welcome, the fabulous location, superb food & wine, lovely comfortable room or the feeling that nothing is ever too much trouble to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, I don't know. However all the lovely staff make us feel like friends returning and we can't wait to go back again!

An excellent stay, the only downside we were not told at the time of booking that the restaurant did not open on Mondays and Tuesday's. However, we had excellent meals at the Cottage Hotel.

This was the best stay on our vacation. The setting is beautiful and the hotel is so very well situated on the lake. The staff was more than helpful with a medical problem. We were so grateful for the care and concern of the staff. I also appreciated playing on the piano. Thank you for one of the best vacation experiences ever.
