Description of the establishment
Located in the Palais Brongniart, Place de la Bourse in Paris, Spoon, whose interior design is by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, offers a mixed cuisine. The culinary world keeps getting richer. It is constantly expanding to include the innumerable cultures that all contribute their share to the great symphony of the world's tastes. Inspired by the diversity of terroirs discovered by Alain Ducasse during his travels, Spoon's cuisine is decidedly lively and playful, and always authentic. The distinctive and audacious dishes are borrowed from the great culinary traditions of the world. Spoon offers a new and exciting version of them. They come from Asia, such as Chinese spicy duck soup and delicate pancakes, and Taiwanese katsuoboshi, or prawn cake. Or from Latin America, such as Mexican Chile sin carne, or Burnt mango with avocado and coriander from Brazil. They also come from the Maghreb, such as zahtar rubbed lamb shoulder with yoghurt and coriander. A real journey, in total liberty, through the richness and diversity of the flavours of today's world. A culinary journey to encounter the tastes of the world.
