In this peaceful Basque countryside, La Ferme Ostalapia keeps its idyllic promises. The local specialities jostle on the slate plates and guests delight in the simple dishes featuring the fresh ingredients of the day. Christian Duplaissy's seventeenth-century inn used to serve as a hotel for pilgrims heading for Santiago de Compostela. Today, it is a welcome stop-over for enlightened connoisseurs. Eight pretty rooms extend an invitation to stay a little longer and enjoy the hearty regional flavours.
