Famille Demarcq

« In this place imbued with Napoleon's spirit, enjoy the delicous classical cuisine prepared by father and son »

Description of the establishment

For the Demarcqs, cooking is a family venture with everybody very busy in this historic restaurant in the old part of Cambrai which once played host to Napoléon Bonaparte and Joséphine. The decor combines the splendour of this lord’s manor with more up-to-date flourishes and creates a resolutely chic and contemporary setting. Marylène gives guests a warm welcome and ensures that the service is impeccable whilst behind the bay window her son Antoine and her husband Patrice at the stoves follow a meticulous ritual, the blending of the aromas and flavours of fresh produce. Élodie, the sommelier and Antoine’s partner, ensures each delicious dish is served with the through her excellent choice of fine wines.
