This house is a Private Residence that takes guests. The prosperity of Vieil Alby, once heavily involved in the woad trade, is visible on the facades of the noble dwellings of Renaissance merchants. Above the private residence of Séré-de-Rivières a watchtower overlooks a labyrinth of streets and corbelled houses. To ensure guests are privy to an exceptional experience, there are only 4 rooms in St. Cécile's tower that boast impressive views of the fortified cathedral, a masterpiece of Southern French Gothic architecture. The Lapérouse room, accessed via a narrow, spiral staircase, offers breathtaking all-round views of the typical brickwork of Albi la Rouge on the horizon.
