Châteaux et Hôtels Collection Gift Vouchers, Escapades Packages and Instants Gourmands Meals

VEGA VOYAGES, company with a capital of € 257 700, registered with the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés de Nanterre (Nanterre Trade Registry) under SIREN number 422 044 693, with its Head Office located at 84 avenue Victor Cresson 92441 Issy-les-Moulineaux, markets gift vouchers and packages as described below, under the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

    1. Description of the Gift Vouchers, Escapades and Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers marketed by Châteaux et Hôtels Collection

    2. Taking orders and fulfilling orders

The Gift Vouchers, the Escapades Packages and the Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers can be ordered on line via the Internet site, by telephone on 0892 23 00 75 (€ 0.337 Inclusive of Tax/min) and by letter sent to Châteaux et Hôtels Collection, 84, avenue Victor Cresson 92441 Issy-les-Moulineaux Cedex.

All orders of Gift Vouchers, Escapades Packages and Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers, regardless of the method used to obtain them, imply full and entire acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which the Customer expressly acknowledges and accepts.

The orders are fulfilled within a maximum of 30 days following acceptance and verification of the payment concerning payment by banker's card and following a cheque being cashed in the case of payment by cheque. For this purpose, in accordance with the methods chosen by the Customer when ordering, the ordered services are, within the aforementioned 30 days:

- either made available to the Customer for collection from the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection Head Office : 84 avenue Victor Cresson 92441 Issy-les-Moulineaux ;

- or sent by post to the person having ordered, whose address has been expressly indicated by the Customer when ordering. In this case, for all deliveries not exceeding one kilogramme, sent by tracked mail in Metropolitan France, a flat rate sum of € 7 Inclusive of Tax per beneficiary is billed to the Customer. All deliveries made outside Metropolitan France are billed to the Customer depending on the country concerned.

The bill corresponding to the services ordered by the Customer is sent to the latter when the order is fulfilled.

    3. Prices and methods of payment

Gift Vouchers are billed to the Customer for the sum corresponding to the value of the Gift Vouchers, in addition to the administrative charges corresponding to 10% of their amount. These administrative charges are subject to VAT at the rate in force.

The Escapades Packages and Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers are billed at the prices in force at the time the order is made and which correspond to each type of package or meal voucher chosen as described on the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection Site. These prices include the administrative charges (10%) and the related VAT.

Forwarding charges (€7 Inclusive of Tax per beneficiary for items weighing less than one kilogramme sent in Metropolitan France) are not included.

The prices charged by VEGA VOYAGES may be revised at any time.

The Gift Vouchers, the Escapades Packages and the Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers are payable, in euros, when ordering whichever of the following methods is used:
- by banker's card belonging to the Customer (Debit Card, VISA, EuroCard/Master Card, American Express, JCB). In this case, the payment is made by using a secure on-line payment system using the SSL protocol, presupposing the Customer provides his payment card number and is expiry date.
- by cheque made out to VEGA VOYAGES and drawn on a bank domiciled in Metropolitan France.

VEGA VOYAGES reserves the right to suspend fulfilment of any order subject to a payment problem. The Customer shall meet any costs incurred by VEGA VOYAGES in order to recover the sums owed by the Customer including reasonable legal costs.

    4. Conditions for using Gift Vouchers, Escapades Packages and Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers

The Gift Vouchers may only be used in the establishments appearing in the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection guide for the current calendar year. The guides for each calendar year are available free of charge from 1st March, both in the establishments which are members of the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection network, and in the Head Office located at 84 avenue Victor Cresson, 92441 Issy-Les-Moulineaux.

The Gift Vouchers and booking forms corresponding to the Escapades Packages and the Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers are transferable and may be used by any person who is the bearer. They are placed under the full responsibility of the bearer without any possible recourse in the event of loss or theft.

The Gift Vouchers and the booking forms corresponding to the Escapades Packages and the Instants Gourmands Meals are valid for one year from date they are issued and must be used during the period of validity. After the period of validity, which shall not be extended in any circumstances, they must in no case be used to pay for services provided by the establishments which are members of the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection network.

Gift Vouchers and the booking forms corresponding to the Escapades Packages and the Instants Gourmands Meals may never be refunded or exchanged, either fully or wholly, for cash or combined.

In the event of the sum corresponding to the Gift Vouchers being exceeded and/or any service not included in an Escapade Package or Instant Gourmands Meal being used, the beneficiary must pay the establishment concerned the outstanding amount in accordance with the latter's conditions.

The establishments which are members of the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection network participating in the offers for Escapades Packages and Instants Gourmands Meal Vouchers are bound to provide all of the services included in the package or in the event of their not being available, equivalent services.

    5. Booking accommodation and/or meals

Accommodation and/or meals included in the Escapade Packages and Instants Gourmands Meals must be the subject of prior booking in accordance with the conditions described hereinafter.

Accommodation and/or meals included in the Escapade Packages must be the subject of a prior booking made with the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection Booking Centre on 0892 23 00 75 (€ 0.34 Inclusive of Tax/min).

When booking, the Customer must provide the booking form reference corresponding to the Escapade Package of which he is the beneficiary. The Customer shall receive a definite accommodation form after the necessary checks have been made.

The Customer may modify his booking up to 72 hours before the initially scheduled date initially, by contacting the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection Booking Centre on n° 0892 23 00 75 (€ 0.34 Inclusive of Tax/min), subject to availability in the requested establishment.

No modification shall be accepted after the aforementioned 72 hour period.

The Customer may not claim any exchange in the event of failing to appear in the establishment concerned on the day and time scheduled when booking.

Meals included in the Instant Gourmand Meals must be directly booked beforehand with the establishment which is a member of the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection network participating in the offer of the package concerned and chosen by the beneficiary. The reservation must be made no later than 72 hours before the desired date. Any modification must be made no later than 24 hours before the reserved date.

Bookings for the Instants Gourmands Meals may be made for all days, weeks and weekends, lunchtime and evening, depending on the opening days and times of the chosen establishments, except for 24 and 31 December and 14 February.

The Customer must send the establishment concerned, by telecopy or by post, a copy of the booking form corresponding to the Instant Gourmand Meal concerned, and must produce the original on arriving at the establishment concerned.

    6. Claims

The Customer (or the beneficiary) must inform VEGA VOYAGES of any claim concerning a delivery error and/or non-conformity with regard to the order within forty-eight hours of the delivery (date of receipt or date of collecting from the Head Office). Any claim made after this period shall be rejected and the Gift Vouchers and/or Escapades Packages and Instants Gourmands Meals shall be deemed to comply with the orders made by the Customer.

    7. Intellectual Property

The names Châteaux et Hôtels Collection, Tables Remarquables, Instants Gourmands, the design and the logo are officially registered with INPI, and are as a result legally protected against any use made of them without the authorisation of their holder.

It is strictly forbidden to reproduce, represent, modify, transmit, publish, adapt, on any media whatsoever, and by any means whatsoever, or exploit by any means whatsoever, all or part of the content of the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection Site without the prior written authorisation of VEGA GESTION.

    8. Computerized Data and Freedom of Information

The personal information provided by the Customer may be forwarded to the partners of VEGA VOYAGES and VEGA GESTION, the establishments which are members of the Châteaux et Hôtels Collection network, and any other company which is a member of the Groupe Alain Ducasse. Unless expressly opposed by the Customer, they are entered into the customer file of Châteaux et Hôtels Collection, which is declared to the CNIL (national data protection agency). The Customer has the right to access and rectify personal information.
