In this pleasant Basque countryside, La Ferme Ostalapia keeps its idyllic promises. The local specialities jostle on the slate plates and guests delight in the simple dishes featuring fresh ingredients of the day. The 17th century inn of Christian Duplaissy once served as a post house for pilgrims heading for the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela on the Way of St. James. Today, it is a welcome stop-over for enlightened connoisseurs. Eight pretty rooms extend an invitation to stay a little longer and enjoy the hearty regional aromas.
