Description
One hundred and five grotesque masks adorn the façade of this 17th century house, built against the fortifications of the old town of Colmar. The homely interior of this former wine exchange is structured around a pretty paved courtyard full of climbing vines. A retreat within the town, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, with soothing beige and honey tones, warm pine furniture and superb relaxing bathrooms. The same atmosphere prevails in the restaurant, which serves an acclaimed Alsatian cuisine. Close to the Unterlinden museum and the canals of 'Little Venice', this listed building is a haven for travellers.
