Nestling within an enchanting setting with, in the distance, Richard Lionheart's fortress Château Gaillard and the meanders of the Seine River, La Chaîne d'Or has been upholding a tradition of hospitality since 1751. Thanks to Stéphanie and Olivier Bicot, this Norman manor house has reclaimed its lustre of yesteryear. The wonderfully romantic guest rooms are huge and bright, offering all of their elegance and overlooking the river, the church on the picturesque Petit Andely square, or the inside courtyard. This peaceful riverside stopover becomes a gourmet delight when tasting the cuisine served by Philippe Lallier, who has the key to sublimating the flavours of local produce.
