Description
Bressanone, the small Tyrolean town where you will find Hotel Elephant, is a renowned spot for winter sports. There is a rather unusual tale behind the name. It so happens that the hotel once hosted an elephant offered by King John III of Portugal to his nephew Archduke Maximilian of Austria. An exotic fresco on the facade immortalises the episode. The venue, decorated in classical style with beautiful canvasses and antique items worthy of a museum, is ideal for a cultural or sporting getaway and alpine excursions. The customised guest rooms, and the swimming pool set within a lovely floral park bring the finishing touch to the scene. |
