Description
The Château de Cocove, named after an advisor to King Louis XV, is a classic 18th century manor close to Calais which was also a theatre for sumptuous soirees organised by Marshal Ney. In the heart of the countryside, surrounded by a park and English gardens, it makes a perfect stopover for heading off to the Terres d'Albion or visiting the Opal Coast and French Flanders. In an arcaded wing, the flowered fabrics of the guest rooms harmonise with the furniture in perfect style. In the former stables, the restaurant with its pastoral view promises a quality menu, combined with an astonishing selection of wines kept in magnificent vaulted cellars.
