Description
At the gateway to the Verdon, perched on a rocky outcrop, this 11th century castle once belonged to the counts of Provence and now welcomes guests in a skilfully restored medieval atmosphere. The comfortable bedrooms furnished in the Haute Epoque style with four-poster beds are set around a vast terrace overlooking the village and surrounding countryside. The restaurant, serving delicious regional specialities, is found in the old arms room, a rustic setting with small loopholes in its thick stone walls adorned with coats of arms. On fine days, breakfast and aperitifs are served by the ramparts on the castle's panoramic terrace. |
