Description
A façade covered in ivy, a Roman door, large white shutters... Welcome to the château. Long before it became a well-appointed hotel with a tennis court and swimming pool, this fine building was a Benedictine monastery in the 12th century and then a lord's residence in the 16th century. General de Gaulle once stayed here. The hotel has kept many memories from its rich past including a noticeable taste for period furniture and outstanding sophistication. Located in the heart of the Cevennes National Park, the hotel is resplendent with its six-hectares of enclosed parkland. |
