The history of L'Auberge du Forgeron is closely linked to the stagecoach. This coaching inn was the last stop before Lille on the road to Paris. Today, this charming inn and its popular cuisine are very much in demand. It has been in the hands of the Bélot family since 1959. Recently refurbished, the inn has rooms whose comfort is in complete harmony with the soft colours, the smooth blend of pale, patina hues. The decor is highly contemporary and marries perfectly with the timeless furniture. It bears the stamp of Andrée Leblanc, an interior designer from Brussels who has the gift of crafting calming settings.
